Getting a summer piercing? We recommend waiting to swim until your piercing is fully healed. While healing times vary by piercing, the average time is 2-3 months. Your piercer will provide you with personalized aftercare instructions to ensure proper healing.

While times vary for each individual, you can typically expect:

  • 6–8 weeks for the initial healing
  • 3–6 months for full healing
