2. Select Your Jewelry

4. Piercing

Your piercer will guide you through the piercing and place your initial jewelry. They’ll explain each step so you know what’s happening and can speak up if you need a moment.

5. Aftercare Info

Before you leave, we’ll explain how to care for your new piercing and what to expect as it heals. We’ll also talk about when to check in about downsizing your jewelry, usually after one to two months, and answer any questions you have.

Nipple Piercings Are for Adults 18 and Older

You must be at least 18 years old to get a nipple piercing. Please bring a valid government-issued photo ID to your appointment. You can find our consent forms here.

Walk-Ins & Appointments

We welcome walk-ins and scheduled appointments seven days a week. Even if online appointments appear full, you can still stop by as a walk-in.

Aftercare & Healing

Wait until your nipple piercing is fully healed before swimming. Healing can take four to nine months or longer, depending on your anatomy. Your piercer will give you aftercare instructions and let you know when to return for a possible jewelry downsize, typically after one to two months.

North Phoenix Nipple Piercing FAQs

Nipple piercings depend on your anatomy and may not be suitable for everyone. Your piercer will assess the area and talk through your options before proceeding. If you have a backup piercing in mind, we may be able to do that during your appointment instead.

You also must be 18 or over for nipple piercing services at HTC Studios.

You can book a single nipple piercing or a pair. Let us know what you’re considering during your consultation so we can discuss placement and jewelry with you.

Healing times vary. Our guidance is four to six months or longer for AMAB nipples and six to nine months or longer for AFAB nipples. Your piercer can give you more specific guidance based on your anatomy and how your piercing is healing.

We typically suggest checking in about a downsize one to two months after your piercing. Your piercer can assess whether the initial barbell is ready to be replaced with a shorter one.

Wait until your nipple piercing is fully healed before switching to a ring. Your piercer can check the piercing and help you choose jewelry that fits comfortably when it’s ready.
